What an intake receipt means.
A receipt confirms that the submission was received. It does not mean the matter was accepted or that legal representation exists.
Submission
Only send information you are authorized to provide and believe to be accurate. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment credentials, or private keys.
Receipt
A receipt confirms delivery of the intake record. It is not an agreement to perform work.
Review
After review, Puff Legal may ask for more information, propose a scope of work, suggest another provider, or decline the matter.
Corrections
If you later find an important error, reference the original receipt and explain what should be corrected.
Urgent deadlines
Submitting an intake does not stop or extend any court, agency, platform, contractual, or statutory deadline.
